i'm in the UK and scanned a product bar code in a branch of the John Lewis department store. The problem is that JL replace the bar codes with their own, so when it searched, RedLaser only found results from johnlewis.com. When I got back to my computer and typed the product name in manually, Google Shopping found lots of identical products elsewhere, many a lot cheaper than John Lewis. At present, it's not possible to copy and paste from RedLaser's search results into anywhere - could that be implemented? Maybe it could automatically do that - so when it finds the product in one place, like it did with me, it searches elsewhere using the product name.
Maybe it could be clever, like eBay's search where it can try omitting different words to get different results (so, for example, my search was for an Animal Staaten Split Wheeled Holdall, Olive - but by omitting the word olive, it brings up other colours available; or some websites might leave out some of the words like "split wheeled").
